Hi, I’m Luca Cazzani and this is my little biography.
If you suffer from insomnia, read on…

I was born in 1980, just after the first sale of Pac-Man videogame in Japan and soon after the release of AC/DC “Back in Black” album.
Since childhood my entire family knows well my curiosity, imagination and inclination to “narrate” fantasy tales.
At elementary school I really devour everything, from Mickey Mouse to The Hobbit, from Masters comic booklets to Lone Wolf gamebooks.
But it’s in the 1989 that I saw on tv the commercial that would change my life: Milton Bradley’s HeroQuest!
A whole new world opened up for me, a new dimension, and so it begins my new career as author, creating games to entertain family and friends.
Time has passed, I begin to attend secondary school and I get to know manga and rock music.
Drawing inspirations from so many fonts, during the ’90 my creativity explodes and I begin writing many novels.
Obviously my frantic mind doesn’t stop and during high school I start to sketch different game prototypes too, testing them with my brother and friends.
First a boxing simulation (with my personal revisiting of some champs of the noble art), then a sort of futuristic racing game, tons of HeroQuest adventures, a whole pirates themed Magic expansion, a roleplaygame with a setting somewhere between mafia & super-powers…
I can’t stop!
Finished high school I serve in the airforce and after that I start my working adventure. Here too I’m a bit “frenzied”, having a lot of different occupations during first years, to finally become foreign office manager in a mechanical company and, more recently, a bank employee.
But the turning point in my creative sphere is all thanks to my wife: in 2012 during a trip to Lucca Comics & Games organized by her, I meet my friend Angelo Porazzi, who open (just like HeroQuest did many years ago) a door on a new dimension and allows me to share my passions with many other people.
My first boardgame DungeonPig see the light of day in september 2013, after an year of playtesting and partecipations to various events.
DungeonPig is even more successful than we hoped and in 2014 we present its first expansion Puerko Rico (with a pirate theme) and soon after the All-Starz thematic teams.
In july 2016 AcchiappaSogni publish my first official collaboration to Musha Shugyo role-play game: the crazy setting called Rotten Core.
Needless to say, my workaholic mind is already mixing so many ideas and projects, including a novel and a lot of games just waiting to be ported in real world.
And obviously the much sought DungeonPig expansions!
Follow me and you won’t regret it! ^_^
